The assignment was to design an album for an artist based on a historical art movement. The band I chose was the Gorillaz, and the art movement I chose was the Dadaist movement.

Dada was made up of counter-culture ideals andaesthetics, embracing a chaotic and absurd view to life, while protestingagainst issues such as war and capitalism. Similarly, the music of the Gorillazchallenges these same issues that still rule society today, and bring awarenessto recent socio-political themes while experimenting against mainstream musicwith their various genres and featured artists.”
