A commissioned piece, the client’s only instructions were, “surprise me.” I knew this client was fond of memes and funny artworks, and I wanted to add my own twist to this concept while incorporating a strong message.

Rooted in absurdity and existential angst, “we live in a society” is a popular phrase associated with the Joker character. Moreover, this meme criticizes the society in which we live and have built, and my goal was to express that in this project.
